My husband and I are both golfers, and this location worked perfectly for us. The golf course was about 9 minutes away on a busy day and around 6 minutes on a good day, so early tee-offs were very easy. After golf, we could be at Boat Avenue in about 3 minutes for a relaxed glass of wine. Daily essentials were also convenient, with Villa Market and Tops at Porto both within about a 5-minute drive, including easy breakfast options. Inside the villa, the attention to detail was excellent. The premium linens, well-equipped kitchen, and consistent housekeeping made the stay feel smooth from start to finish. Sunset views from the terrace were beautiful, and overall this was one of the most complete luxury villa stays we have had. Highly recommend!

There were 18 of us and we were four family friends escaping the Australian winter for sunny Phuket, so we booked the entire estate. Subata Villas was the perfect balance, close to Boat Avenue dining, while the newest and finest restaurants at Boat Lake Avenue were literally a 5-minute walk from the villa. We had some of the best pizza and Italian food in Phuket, and with children and a large group, being able to walk everywhere was a huge advantage instead of hiring vans and taxis. It was a big saving too. Even when our group got a little loud, the villas were built so well that noise barely carried outside, which let us enjoy our evenings without trouble. The team also arranged a private yacht for all 18 of us at a very reasonable price (33,000 Baht). It was one of our best days with a catamaran, fresh seafood, snorkeling, and remote pristine islands. We highly recommend Subata Villas for both large and small families. Location, upkeep, cleanliness, and security are all handled beautifully. We will certainly book again.

Subata Villas felt thoughtful and effortless for our mixed group of best friends and families with kids. The kids loved the swimming pool and spent most of their time in it, while the husbands enjoyed evening barbecues every day. The hosts even arranged a wine sommelier to pair with our food. For my husband's 50th birthday, they also arranged a special Thai chef experience where we learned Thai cooking through the day. The party poppers, balloons, and overall setup by the Subata Villas hosts was simply awesome, something we could have never imagined back in Spain. The team was always warm and very responsive. All our next holidays will always most likely be at the Subata Villas. No other choice, no other questions 😊

What we loved most was the location - we could simply walk to Boat Avenue for dinner or shopping, and Laguna was close enough for relaxed strolls without needing to plan transport every time. The beach was only about a 5-minute drive away, so quick morning and evening visits were super convenient. For a large family, having this mix of comfort in the villa and easy access to restaurants, Laguna, and the beach made our stay truly hassle-free.

We stayed at Subata villa for 2 months, and it genuinely felt like a second home. The security and access features made a big difference to our daily life over such a long stay. The remote-controlled main gate gave us peace of mind, while the biometric main door lock meant no one had to worry about carrying or losing keys in a large household. After 2 months, leaving the villa was genuinely hard - it had become our comfortable, secure sanctuary in Phuket. We came as a family of eight from India and Subata's villa turned out to be the perfect base for our Phuket holiday. The sunsets from the poolside were magical, and most evenings were spent relaxing by the water, chatting late into the night. The full kitchen and in-villa barbecue made it easy for us to cook together, which was a big plus for our multi-generational family.
